Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota

2nd Mailbox on my property

The mailboxes on my street are required to be on my property's side of the street, so my neighbor across the street's mailbox is on my property. 3 years ago, I got permission from the post office to build a permanent mailbox beyond the easement which contains both of our mailboxes. There have been no complaints by the post office at any time, however now, my neighbor is telling me he is going to put up another mailbox because he doesn't like the way he has to get mail. What are my rights to prevent this. He already has a perfectly working mailbox on my property. Can he do this?

Re: 2nd Mailbox on my property

It sounds to me like you have a good argument but it would be difficult to determine whether you could enjoin him or not without me doing substantial legal research. I have litigated "neighbor" property disputes before, if you are interested in retaining me.
