Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I have paid off the child support arrears in June 2010. Recently, I have found out that there is a criminal non-support warrant file in 2005 in my name in the state of Missouri. This is Class D felony warrant.

Charge is Nonsupport In Each Of Six Individual Months Within Any Twelve-Month Period, Amount Owed Is In Excess Of $5000

Is there any possibility to recall or dismiss this warrant. Would I be sentence for this warrant even though I have paid out all my arrears.

It is very unlikely that you would be jailed for a moot warrant. With legal counsel, you should be able to get the warrant recalled. Find an attonrey in teh rea wher ethe warrant was issued to move the court to recall the warrant. It should not cost a lot to have this done.

Good luck
