Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Consideration of Obligee's imcome in modification

Since divorce, ex-wife's income more than tripled and is not double mine. In prior modification, district judge pressed for settlement and made no facts or findings. How can I make sure he examines and takes into account "relative income of both parents" and my obligation for support of new wife in upcoming modification action the I have intitiated?

Are you talking about child support? 'Cause the question didn't say and I am having to guess. My experience has been that the relative income of Mom and Dad is only a small part of the child support order - the judges like to stick with the flat percentage because it is easy for them. However, since the difference in your income is so great, it might be worth a try.
