Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Property division agreement in divorce decree

In my divorce decree it says there is an Exhibit ''A'' which is supposedly an agreement on the division of property and debt. I never agreed to any agreement and there isnt even an agreement on file in the clerks office to my knowledge. What are my options to get the debt and property divided up if there is no agreement on file?

Re: Property division agreement in divorce decree

You should go to the court house and check first. If you and your ex agreed to something and it is not a part of the Divorce, it is pretty easy to get the Court to approve.

If you don't have an agreement, you could divide it as you two agree to, if you can't agree, then you can either try mediation or you may have to go a trial.

File a motion to do such a division.
