Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Nevada

Forced Disability Retirement

Employed for 14 years. Injured while on the job. For nine months was refused surgery that would have put me back to work. Finally received surgery, but too late to save position. Was forced to take disability retirement. Was financially ruined. Was forced to sell large custom home and move to Nevada in order to survive. Have lost more than $1 million dollars in hard costs, not to mention pain and suffering for me and my wife who is, according to Social Security, permanentaly disabled. Can former employer get away with runing my life like this? All they had to do in the first place was approve needed surgery so I could go back to work, and not lose everything I and my wife had worked so hard for. Former employer and the insurance company were ordered to approve the surgery in the end. Is there any redress for Me?
