Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Nevada

I live out of state and was sued in Nevada

I live out of state but defaulted on a rental agreement in Nevada. From what I can see of NRS 13.040, the proper venue should be in my home state shouldn't it?? It was a commercial lease for a business I have in Nevada but they were aware at the execution of the lease that I resided out of state. What is the proper ruling??

Usually the location where the contract was entered into in the proper jurisdiction. The lease may state what is the proper venue.
