Legal Question in Employment Law in Nevada

I recently quit my job because my employer claimed that he didn't have any positions available for me during my pregnancy. During my last 2 weeks I found out that he was hiring for the position I had asked for several weeks ago. I feel that I have been treated unfairly because I am pregnant. What are my legal rights and what can I do?

If you were employed by this employer for a period of more than 12 months and the employer has more than 50 employees within a 75-mile radius, you may be protected under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). If you quit for good cause, you also might be entitled to unemployment benefits. Notwithstanding, you should probably contact an attorney to discuss other rights that you may have.
