Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

custody-child taken by father-former boyfriend

My 7 yr old daughter was taken by my former boyfriend-(her father) and moved to a different town and enrolled in school. He does not pay support and we do not have a custody agreement of any kind-what can I do?

You will need to seek the assistance of the court. A Parenting Plan can be agreed by the parties or ordered by the court. Generally it is beneficial for both parents to be actively involved in the lives of their children and the court will look carefully at keeping both of you in that position.

These are technical matters and it would be worthwhile for you to consult with an attorney who can evaluate all of the facts and circumstances of your particular situation.
