Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Hampshire

Hi my names is James. Trying to get some info for my mother. She just moved into a new apartment and my 22 year old brother lives with her. Brother and mother are not getting along and she is wondering what actions she can take to kick him out. He shows no signs of paying rent. Even though she has demanded 400 a month.

The starting point would be a review of the lease. Are both names on the lease? If so, they have to work it out. Is each responsible for a portion of the rent or are they "jointly" responsible for all of the rent. In order to kick him out, she would need to go to court using the eviction process. The forms are available at the local district court. The process requires careful attention to detail and being very specific as to the grounds for evicition.
