Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

I was put on a 90 day personal inprovment plan. Also known as a PiP, due to no fault of my now my manger and District manager didn't do the 30 day review as per the pip instead they did a 60 day review and call it my 30 day review. It is now 2 week past the end date of my pip at witch i should be taken off of it or fired. But now the DM wants to extended it another 30 days because they didn't do both the 30 and 60 day review. I feel they are doing this so that they can keep on durring the busy season for us and then let me go after the store slows down again. Right before i was put on this PiP i had a Manager fired for assulting me in the store. He was with the company for 12 years and it took them almost 3 month to get rid of him and return me to store. Is there any ground for a lawsuit againts them as I feel I'm being target and they are trying to take advantage of me. All this has happen with in the last 6 month give or take.
