Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Mexico

Does my father's will have to go throug probate

My father passed away and in his will he split his estate evenly between my sisters and I. His savings & money market accounts are joint accounts in mine and his name. The piece of property he left is in his name only. Since my name is on all his accounts I would like to just withdraw it and divide it equally between my sisters and I. Does his will have to go through probate?

Re: Does my father's will have to go throug probate

Your father's Will probably does have to be probated because you indicated that he owned property, if you meant real estate in New Mexico. I can't tell you for sure, however, without more information. Feel free to call anytime to set an appointment for me to look at the Deed to the real estate and ask you other questions.
