Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

national fair housing complaint
I have recently found out that I am being sued by the national fair housing alliance for posting the following add:''One bedroom walk down apartment (basement). has one bedroom one bathroom, small hall way, kitchen/livingroom (kitchenette). The apartment is small but quaint. It is similar to a studio apartment because it does have kitchen and living room combined. Prefer one person to live in this apartment. Very quiet neighborhood in yonkers, plenty of parking, stores, laundromat and transportation 1 block away. Utilities included are gas, water, and electricity. Looking for someone to move in the first weak of september.''When posting this I did not mean to discrimate familial status or marital status. I even had couples and college student call me and I did not turn them down. The apartment is now rented to two people. I did not Refuse to rent, refuse to negotiate for housing or make housing unavailable. What should be my answer to the complaint?

You can deny all of the allegations in the complaint and state that you are renting the apartment to two people.

Does the complaint allege that you discriminated against a sepcific group?
