Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Divorce

I reside in Florida. Spouse from whom I have been separated more than 10 years, resides in New York. We were married in Yonkers, New York. What is the swiftest, most economical way to obtain an uncontested divorce ( no children, no assets)?

I appreciate your help. Thank you

Re: Divorce

If you're both in agreement on the grounds and the uncontested nature of the divorce, it should be possible to get the divorce completed in the Westchester County courthouse in a relatively short period, for a quite small fee.

Please feel free to get in touch (or have your spouse do it). The paperwork can be processed and filed within a matter of a few days.

Re: Divorce

You should file in Florida. With a Settlement agreement between the parties you can do a divorce by waiver.
