Hello,

My freind and her sister have lived with their grandfather for 1-5 years. He is about to pass away and his son said he is going to sell the house when he dies. Is there anything they can do to avoid becoming homeless.

It is apparent from the information you furnished that the two grandchildren do not have funds to buy the house. It all depends on the provisions of the Will. If everything passes to the son, then he can do with the house as he pleases.On the other hand, the grandfather may have provided in his Will for his grandchildren. Who knows?
