Legal Question in Bankruptcy in North Carolina

Bankruptcy relevant to child support laws.

Is an individual who is not able to secure year-round employment due to their educational limits or health, eligible to file Chapter 7 Personal Bankruptcy to eliminate their responsibility of back child support payments, incurred while living in a different State, if such payments deter said person's basic abilities to provide for their food, shelter, clothing and health needs ?

Only Death stops Child Support payments.

And Even Your estate may have to pay for arrears.

But If you have a regular source of income, you may be able to work out a Repayment plan to avoid the mother from trying to have it enforced with a Jail Term.
