Desperate Senior

My lawyer doesn't get in touch with me like he used to even when I mail him my question's and concerns. How should I handle this?

Usually, a lawyer does a lot of work at the beginning of a case explaining and counseling and then collecting information using what is known as discovery rules of court.

Then there is a quiet period and of course the lawyer has other cases. Cases are handled in a kind of rotation. With due regard to the Court's scheduling order cases that are coming up soon are worked on now and cases that are coming up later are worked on, again, later.

Lawyers usually call when there is something to tell you that is new. On the other hand you should write a letter to your lawyer recording the need for consultation now.
