Re: Ex-Wife Changing our daughters last name

In Florida, she would have to go through the court and give you proper notice of her intentions to change her name. It would take a court order to legally change it. The county where she resides would have a court file containing her petition for a name change, copy of notice sent to you or publication in newspaper of town where you last resided, and order of court changing her name.
