''Lost Last Paycheck Causing Mental Anguish''
My employer sent my last paycheck on 10.6.06 and I have yet to receive it. H etold me that I could pay a $30.00 stop payment and a new check would be issued otherwise I need to wait until it shows up. My son is scared that because i haven't gotten paid that we are going to be kicked out of our apartment and spends the nights crying and worrying. Can anything be done about all of this??

The mail these days can sometimes take up to two weeks or so to arrive even at a local destination. Hopefully, you have received your check by now.
