Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Ohio

Age discrimination

I was fired from my job as GM of a publically held Mercedes dealership without cause after 12 years of employment. Prior to my termination, I was forced to fire my service manager. I am 42 and my replacement was 37. My service manager was in his late 40's and his replacenment was in his mid thirties. Any grounds to age discrimination here?

Yes, this sounds like a case for you....you need to find someone who specializes in employment law...this will require you to do a lot of searching, but if you do your homework you can find someone especially trained to handle this....this is definitely worth looking into...

Re: Age discrimination

Age normally is a six year difference.

However 40 starts age discrimination and 30s' are considered young. I would file a declaratory to determine.
