have court judgement,,,defendent on run,,,not collectable??

Iloaned money to defendantfor repair of car .He was convicted on drug charges, and advised to get a job.Thats why I loaned him the money,, so he`d have the car for a job!He`s on the run from more trouble now, his co-signer is making the car pymts.His wife is in hiding(co-signer`s daughter).These people owe me $3000+10%ann.since 1999.The bank has title,father-in-law says he will pay it off and keep the car and sell it..How can I intervine for the car&title? I have taken them to court,they didnt show!I have judgement for $3000+10% ann.Please help?!

You have to wait until the bank lien is satisfied before you can try to attach the car to satisfy the judgment.
