Legal Question in Immigration Law in Oklahoma

I am a US citizen by naturalization who have a daughter who resides in Nigeria with my parent, and I am trying to to bring her here soon. But I have a huge problem. When I came here on a fiance visa with my ex, I never put my daughter name on any of the documents, because my parent doesn't want me to do that, which I obeyed them then. I came to the states in 2005. When I applied for citizenship, I I didn't put her on any document again. Infact I am in the military, and her name is not on any document I got. Now I want my daughter here, and I really don't know what to do, or how to go about it, because I never add her name on any document from the get go. Please what do I do? I am planinnig on going to Nigeria next year and come back to start the paperwork. Please where do I go from here.

If I file the petition will I loose my citizen or will I get in trouble? Please help.

You need to know that in petitioning for your daughter you will run a significant risk of having your prior immigration applicaitons reviewed. In a recent similar situation my client did have everything favorably resolved, but that was not without a lengthy and stressful review of all prior immigration applications. DNA testing will be needed, and that will be the least of the costs and complications. You may want to consult with an immigration attorney to fully give you an over view of what to expect.
