Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan
Hello,
I have a query. Here is my details:
My husband filed a case of conjugal rights. I didnt receive the notice just for once. then he said he'll advertise it news paper. Now he is saying that divorce settlements will happen in 20 days. Is he giving me divorce through court that I didnt appear? Will I loose the right of haq mahar?

Suit for conjugal rights is seperate and for conjugal rights is seperate. Your right to haq never vanishes but if your husband claims that he has given you haq mehr and you do not appear in the court of law then proceeding can go ex-parte against you. For more do consult me at [email protected]

He is not giving u divorce bu asking u for rejoin him through court. but this is the only decree of court which can not be enforced through court.
