Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania

bankruptcy

If i get a divorce and then file bankruptcy on the bills in my name, is it possible for those bills to become my ex-husbands responsibility. His name is not on any of the bills. Is there any way he would be stuck with those bills?

Re: bankruptcy

You don't need to get divorced. If the bills are in your name alone you can file a bankruptcy and he still would not be stuck with the bills unless he co-signed.
