If they have reason to know that your employer does not permit such calls, they are in violation of the law and you have a cause of action against those particular debt collectors under both the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (Federal) and the Fair Credit Extension Uniformity Act (Pennsylvania). You may want to talk to an attorney in your area about suing the debt collector, especially if this is causing you problems at work.
