Re: debt collection after marriage

In Pennsylvania your husband is not responsible for your debts that were incurred prior to your marriage. In addition, once you are married your jointly held property will not be subject to attachment to enforce collection of your individual debts. I suggest you consult with an attorney to properly review your situation. If I can assist you my number is 215-579-9390. Please realize that the detailed circumstances must be reviewed in order to properly advise you.
