Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

I have been sent a letter from an attorney with a Discovery of Assets in Aid of Execution Directed to me. There is a civil action # on the letter. I am an unemployed homemaker with only my husbands income. The amount I owe is $1712. We are barely making it every month and do not own anything of value except our home and vehicles that are old and not worth much. Our home mortgage is in my husbands name and our checking account is a joint account that never has anything in it except our money to pay our bills. I do not have any savings or stocks, investments of any sort. Should I just fill out the form or should I try to set up a payment plan with them. If we set up a payment plan we may not be able to pay our living expenses each month, we are living paycheck to paycheck. Thank you so much.

No! Don't set up a payment plan with them! You do need to fill out the form and return it to them but you should only do so after consulting an attorney. Depending on who the law firm is, they may be asking you irrelevant information so you just should not blindly fill this out.
