Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

child support arrears

Would like to know if there is a way to restructure child support arrears. Child has graduated college and has not lived with mother for years even during his college years. Don't want to get out of paying, just want to know if a reduction in the alloted deduction can be made?

Re: child support arrears

If the parties agree to revise the amount of support arreage payment then the parties can file a revision with the courts. If you need to consult with an attorney about this you can contact my office for a consultation.

Re: child support arrears

Absolutely. In PA a child support order does not necessarily go through college. It may be time to apply for a modification.

If we can help let us know. Services at a reasonable fee.
