Legal Question in Medical Leave in Pennsylvania

My husband had open heart surgery with post-op complication

My husband is recovering from by-pass surgery. The Doctors do not feel he is strong enough to be lef alone. It is just he and I, no relatives live near us.

I applied for FLMA and had all the paper work filled out as requested but since then the company that takes care of these matters for our HR dept. This company has been asking for more and more info. Is this normal/I feel I have given them the info they want and now they need more and more... should I call my HR dept and tell them to call them off or let it be. I will be out aprox. one more week as long as he is strong enough to be left alone.. per the doctors advise. Thank you.

I do not think it a wise idea to tell off you HR Department. Other than that I do not know what information you gave the FMLA company and what information they are asking for. You may or may not have a valid argument. Personally, I would just give the information that they requested and move on with life.
