Those items are gifts and they belong to you. He has no right to them. However, you have to make your own determination whether it is worth fighting this person in court, or whether you are better served giving the items back to be rid of him.

This is less a legal situation than a personal decision about what's more important to you and your quality of life.

One final thought - if you decide to give the items back, then make sure he files a withdrawal of any lawsuit he filed and gives you a copy.
