exempt employee probationary period

I have an employee who started last monday. He is an exempt status employee. Our Company has a policy that all employees are to go through a 90 day probationary period. Am I required under Pennsylvania or Federal law to pay him for the holidays in which the company is closed during his probationary period.

You asked about holiday pay for a probationary employee.

You need to speak with an attorney directly. Every business needs to have a relationship with an attorney just like they must with an accountant. No one can give you an answer that would satisfy all circumstances.
