Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

I am being sued for 150,000

I had a car accident over a year ago. I just got notice of intent to sue. I am single mother unemployed and have no property that i own. If a judgement is passed on me and I get married a few months later, will my future husband be responsible for my debt since it was a judgement that came before the marriage?

If youu havd insurance forward the document to your carrier. If you did not have insurance you could lose your license for a long time if the injured person's insurance company sues you for subrogation. Your husband cannot be held responsible for any debt related to this accident as it is not a joint obligation(asuming judgment). However, the prescence of a judgment on your credit may make it difficult in the future to obtain a mortgage, loan etc.
