Legal Question in Product Liability in Pennsylvania

small claims court appeal

I took a carpet store to small claims for faulty flooring that started to come up one week after it was installed. he refused to do anything about it.

I won a judgement and on the 30th day his attorney appealed the decision.

I got a letter from the attorney saying she appealed the case and I should be served in the next few days. The certified letter should have gotten to me within 10 days. I called the court house and they didn't hear anything either. It has been 2 weeks and is there a form that I can get to ask to dismiss the appeal since it was never carried through?

Re: small claims court appeal

From what you have stated it sounds as if the Defendant appealed w/in the statutory time period....however, you should immediately consult with an attorney on this matter.
