Use of a Power of Attorney

Most legal documents, such as a power of attorney should be notarized. There are many different forms of a power of attorney - limited power of attorney, power of attorney, durable power of attorney. The use of a power of attorney is permitted under individual state laws and should be drafted with the state law in mind - otherwise it may not be effective.

General Legal Forms

All though it may seem easy and less costly to use forms from a store or internet, it is not recommended. The use of these forms may cost you more in the long run as it may create problems such as future law suits to resolve issue regarding the proper use of the forms or content, (or the lack thereof). Litigation can be costly and time consuming. Have an attorney draw up the correct documents 0 spend a little now to save thousands later.
