Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania

personal care sexual harrassment

A friend of mine lives in a personal care home and one of the residents is offering her money for sex and the owner of the home tells her that he is only joking. My friend is a slow learner and is takening him seriously and wants him to stop but the owner isn't doing anything about it. What should she do to make it stop? Thank you

Re: personal care sexual harrassment

You asked about sexual harassment at a personal care home.

This is a very serious issue and should be reported to the person's social worker immediately. Keep going up the chain until the matter is handled. It might also need to be escalated to the police, but as the other person is also a resident that may not be the case where the offender is not demonstrating any aggressive acts.

At the least the harasser needs to have the bejesus scared out of him by someone in authority. More likely the offending resident needs to be relocated to another residence.

Regards,

Roger
