Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

independent medical exam

I am involved in a comp. case. I had surgery twice, and was sent by the opposing insurance company for an IME, and this doctor is in the same practice as my surgeon. The opposing lawyer still had me see that doctor. Is this a conflict between two doctors in the same practice?

Re: independent medical exam

The law requires that the doctors practice in the same specialty. There is no conflict.
