Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

How long will it take?

I injured my shoulder at work on 2004. I have been receiving payments since, i have hired a lawyer since i have had 2 surgeries, and no improvement. my doctor tell me that i wont be able to do correctional work again since it involves physical restraining. i agreed w/my lawyer to ask for a settlement but the ins. comp. havent answered yet. i have only seen the company doc once and that was 2 weeks after my 2nd surgery. how long more do i have to wait until we can settle this case? And living in PA, about how much would i be entitled to?

I have represented state corrections officers in the past. Many factors are to be considered in making your demand.

The theoretical high for your case is probably about 125K gross, or 100 net.

Stay loyal to your counsel; after all, you wouldn't switch horses mid-stream would you?

Good luck
