settlement for scares/unsucessful surgerys due to injury in accident at work

I work as a Paramedic and was involved in a MVA in the back of an Ambulance treating a patient while on duty over a year ago. I suffered several different injuries, and I did my part going from doctor appt to doctor appt until finally I was sent to a specialist who indeed up to surgery and resecting (removing) part of my scapula bone. I do not have 100% recovery after the accident and I am back to work suffering everyday, I want to know if I am entitled to any sort of settlement for the scar or the non sucessful surgery? I know there was not a claim opened to my employers personal Automobile coverage. Who is responsible for my suffering. I substained other injuries in which healed with no problems.

If there was another vehicle involved, whose driver was at least partially at fault in causing the accident, you may have a claim for injuries against that driver. You cannot sue the driver of the ambulance if he/she is a co-employee with you. You should speak with an experienced personal injury attorney. Please fell free to contact my office. Good luck!!
