Who is liable for damages and medical in a car wreck

Is the driver at falt liable for damages and medical or is his insurance company.If the person at falt doesn't have enough coverage, who is liable for the balance of the damages and medical bills?

The at-fault driver is always the one who is liable. The insurance company get involved because the driver has a contract between him and the insurance company by why of his policy. It is possible to go after the at-fault driver personally in an amount beyond that of his policy limits. This can get complicated and you should have an attorney.
