Getting out of the lease!!

My daughter is sharing an apt. with her boyfriend, he is now

moving out. Is she liable for the entire rent? She cannot afford to pay the full amt. Isn't he responsible for his portion of the contract he signed? Is there anyway she can

get out of the lease now that he has broken the contract?

If your daughter signed the lease, she is liable for 100%. If the boyfriend signed the lease he is also 100% liable. Some attorney would have to review the lease to see if it can be broken.
