Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

Mother passed away 2 1/2 years ago, property was quitclaimed to me and brother (1 acre +/-). Now nephew (of my deceased sister 1970 during child birth with him) is asking for his share.

Without knowing any of the details of the Quitclaim deed or the probate of your mother's estate, it is difficult to give you a professional answer. It appears that your nephew would not have a claim to the property if it was transferred before your mother passed away.
