Legal Question in Disability Law in Texas

Are there any pending class action suits against Nursing schools for ADA Law vio

I believe I have been discriminated against for having Attention Deficit Disorder at two different nursing Schools--first at San Jacinto College Central's nursing program, and then at UTMB School of Nursing, through a small network of nursing instructors who know each other. I am talking to an associatte of Mark Lanier of the Lanier Law Firm in Houston.

Are there any pending class action suits against these two schools, or any similar pending and/or succesful similar suits?, in Texas in general, or especially in Houston and/or Galveston?

Thanks.

Re: Are there any pending class action suits against Nursing schools for ADA Law

I am unaware of any class actions but ADA litigation is becoming more common against schools. Usually it will help when the school has a program to help individuals when their grades begin to fall and the student asks for the help and the help is inadeqaute, comes too late or sometimes not at all.

I recall South Texas College of Law being sued for something similar. Your attorney should be able to find the petition with the court records.
