Re: is there an arrest on my record?

Yes, eventhough the case is dismissed, the arrest and the dismissal are both on your record. Your record will show that you were arrested and then it will show that the case is dismissed. The only to remove it is to file an expungement which is basically a lawsuit whereby you sue all of the governmental agencies that have your fingerprints, photo, and/or information pertaining to the arrest. The filing fee alone usually runs some where around above $250.00.
