Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Case is in the appeals court in Houston, TX

I am representing myself in a family law matter. The opposing attorney filed an extension to file their response brief. The attorney never contacted me regarding the extension if I was opposed or unopposed and never sent me a copy of the extension. What actions could I take? Thank u much.

They do not have to. Extensions with regard to appellate matters are entirely up to the appellate court.
