i had my check garnished for a child over 18 and i have been out of service for over 25 years

I'm not sure what you are asking. It sounds like your paycheck was garnished for a child over the age of 18.

Yes, it can happen. Child support is an obligation that never goes away -- when you die your estate still owes the money.

If the child is over 18 and you are past-due in child support, yes the TX A G office can garnish your income.

If you think their calculations are wrong you need to hire an attorney.
