Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Contempt of Court

I recently purchased a home with my husband and children in a town 2 miles from current county. I was not suppose to move out of county per divorce degree. I can't afford a lawyer and now I have to represent myself....I am a good parent and have no history. My x-husband has been to jail and has previous drug addictions....and his father is a lawyer. Do you think I will be asked to move back into county?

Re: Contempt of Court

You can live where ever you want, but the children may very well have to go back to the original county. You really need to figure out how to afford an attorney. Sounds like you really need one. This is a classic case of an ounce of prevention being worth a pound of cure.
