Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

I was fired from my job of 8 years.My fomer employer told me that i wasnt doing my job.He told unemployment that i had given my boyfriend a blow job in my car in the parking at work during business hours, I believe i got fired because i caught my former employer steeling money from the employees and i stop him , so as long as i was there he could not continue steeling money from the employees. My question is do i have a wrongful termination and defimation of character case against my former employer.I also have proof.

Probably for defamation..but not for wrongful termination, in my opinion, since employers do not need a reason to fire...
