Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

My job pays us for holiday's. I work a 10 hour shift but my company only pays 8 hours of holiday pay. Is that legal?

Generally, yes. Your employer is not required by law to pay you any holiday pay. However, if you work under an individual employment contract or a union contract and that contract specifies something different then your employer must follow the terms of the contract.
