Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

mineral rights

A oil and gas company wants acess to do surveys for

oil/gas. The mineral rights are not owned by me. Do I

have to let them enter and survey or can I deny acess?

Good question. The answer is no so easy to determine without your deed and the lease signed by he mineral owner. You may have to allow access, but you may be entitled to damages for surface damage. Can't tell from here without more information.
