i recieved compensation for a road accident which went to my father now im 18 he refuses to give me the money

This is probably a difficult situation.
Are you still living at home ?
What was the nature of the compensation ? Are you still bearing the handicaps of that accident ? Did you father have to alter the house because of it ?
Have a serious conversation with your father. If that does not resolve it, go (or call) to a Citizens Advise Bureau (http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/index/getadvice.htm). See from there on if you need to consult a solicitor.
