Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Utah

The court has issued me Letters of Guardianship and Conservatorship for my Mother. I plan to set up a checking account in her name with a copy of the Letter. Can I set up the account with a Pay on Death (POD) listing me or someone else as the beneficiary? If possible, please cite the applicable Utah Code title-chapter-section.

The account you set up should be for the Estate of "mother" with yourself as signatory. You will not need to have a POD beneficiary because the account can be used for your mother through her death. You may want to list a trusted person as an alternate signature if you are not able to serve at some point in the future.
